Mimi managed the Pacer skate rental program for 5 years. Mimi was a Judge/Timer for countless meets, receiving CASSA Level II designation in 1984. She has been Chief Timer since 1985, officiating at the Canadian Indoor Championships (Kitchener) as well as the Junior Canadians (Ottawa) in 1986. In 1985 the Graham family (Mimi, John, Steve, Robbie Tanja, Johnny) were awarded the Dietiker Trophy, donated by Walter and Betty Dietiker in 1985 to recognize each year, individuals who most contributed to the sport of speed skating. The trophy is dedicated to two CASSA Hall of Fame members Harold Costin and Jack Barber (Pacer life member), both of whom pioneered the sport in Ottawa. Mimi has been a devoted worker for all Pacer activities. |
