A very dedicated member of the Pacers, working over 17 years at tasks such as timer, judge, recorder, Clerk of the Course, Meet Coordinator (1982 Canada Capital Indoor), social committees and volunteering to help at a great variety of events. 

1977    Pacer Director and OASSA Executive Committee.
1978 to 1981    Pacer Secretary.
1981     Vice President as well as Pacer Skate-A-Thon Chairperson.
1982     Kitty and son Jeroen represented the Pacers at the retirement banquet for George Higgs where she presented him with a Pacer plaque with medal and nameplate.
1983     Kitty, husband Tony and children Jeroen and Carol received the Family Service award.
1984    she received the IASO Certificate of Recognition.

Kitty was assistant to President Peter van Musschenbroek on the 200 km International Race of 11 Cities on the Ottawa River.

She was a skater and in 1983 won the Mass Start Title for Veterans, Women's class.

Kitty is commended for assuming a diversity of posts over the years with exceptional competence and efficiency.
